Laura Slot is a historian and writer from The Netherlands. She focuses on outsiders in twentieth century intellectual history, the history of ideas. She writes and publishes poetry and books and owns the publishing house Old Revolutions Press.

Some moments in time or some facts of old:

Utrecht University, Master of Arts, History of International Relations, University of Florida, Political Science; An in-depth study on the limits of Bertrand Russell’s pacifism was published in several places and forms; Master of Science, Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism in New York.

A decade spent mostly on the US East Coast, Florida, New York City, New Jersey and Boston (2005-2016); Started out reporting, writing and editing for the school edition of TIME Magazine; Linguistics and translations for well-known lawyers as well as book publishers like Könemann and Éditions Place des Victoires (2010-2015); Linguistics and translations for technology companies (2015-2022).
