Laura Slot is a historian and independent writer from The Netherlands. She focuses on outsiders in 20th century intellectual history. Her book on Bertrand Russell was published in 2008 and today her articles appear in different magazines and journals. At the moment she is writing a book on censorship and slander in academia in the 1950s.
